Mrs. Elexis Brack, Principal

Elexis Brack is an experienced educator with more than 20 years in public education. Prior to her role as principal, Mrs. Brack served as a school improvement specialist at Horizon Elementary and coordinator of elementary curriculum and instruction for USD 232. Before her time in USD 232, she served as a district literacy specialist in Olathe Public Schools and as a classroom teacher for 17 years in Olathe, Auburn-Washburn USD 437, and Liberty Public Schools. 

Mrs. Brack earned a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Kansas and a bachelor's degree in elementary/middle education. She also holds a degree in administration and building leadership from Emporia State University. 

Mrs. Brack enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, who also attend USD 232 schools.

Mrs. Maygan Howard, Building Coordinator

Maygan Howard joined USD 232 in 2021 as a kindergarten teacher at Clear Creek Elementary. In 2024, she transitioned into the role of building coordinator at Horizon Elementary, where she supports staff, students, and families while helping foster a positive and engaging learning environment.

Prior to joining USD 232, Mrs. Howard taught in the urban core of Kansas City, Missouri. Her experiences serving diverse learners have strengthened her commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional needs of every student.

Mrs. Howard earned a master's degree in education from Park University. She also holds a building leadership license from Baker University.

Mrs. Howard enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, who also attend USD 232 schools. As a family, they enjoy playing board games, kayaking, and trying new recipes together.
